Creature Mark- Platypus
This project contains two parts: The First was to simplify and design a creature mark for your assigned animal. Next was to combine this design with a poem to create a scene reflective of the creature. During this project, I learned about heiarchy and how to use color effectively in my designs.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project contains two parts. In part one I was tasked with creating a creature mark of a platypus. Simplifying this animal’s form into an icon that showcases it’s unique characteristics. In part two I was asked to implement this form into a composition containing a poem written by one of my classmates.
DIGITAL ITERATIONS
This creature can be made exclusively from semi-circles but unfortunately the initial design did not showcase the unique characteristics of a platypus so further detail was added in the seond batch of iterations.

These compositions are meant to mirror the playfulness of the platypus using the Fibonacci sequence as a guide. It also ties the connection between the poem and creature mark.
